Play round-robin matches on your own schedule, then a knockout decides the champion.
The organizer sets a start and end date for the league phase, and all round-robin matches must be completed within that window.
There's no fixed schedule during the league phase — players/teams coordinate with each other directly to agree on a time and venue for each match.
Everyone needs to complete a minimum number of matches during the league phase to be included in the standings. As matches are reported, the league standings table updates live.
How many players/teams move on, and how they're seeded, is decided by the organizer based on the league standings once the window closes — not a fixed rule set in advance.
Qualifiers are seeded into a single-elimination bracket based on their league standing — from there it's win-or-go-home until a champion is decided.
What if I can't find a time to play a league match?
Reach out to your opponent as early in the window as possible. If a match genuinely can't be arranged, contact the organizer — leaving it too late can mean it doesn't get played before the league window closes.
What happens if I don't hit the minimum match count?
You'll need the minimum number of completed matches in the league phase to appear in the standings — falling short usually means you're left out of the standings the organizer uses to pick knockout qualifiers.
How many teams make the knockout stage?
That's up to the organizer for this league — check the category page or ask the organizer for the exact number of qualifiers and how seeding works.
Does my league standing carry into the knockout stage?
It's what the organizer uses to decide who qualifies and how you're seeded, but the knockout bracket itself is a fresh single-elimination stage — your league record doesn't carry over as a head start.
Can matches happen anywhere during the league phase?
Yes — since there's no central schedule for league matches, players typically agree on a mutually convenient venue and time themselves.
You can pick any region you want to compete in. After 8 weeks of Round Robin within the regions, we will have a knockout across all categories in Bangalore. Top 4 players from each pool are planned to go in but this will depend on the number of registrations and active players.
